Julie Fitzgerald
Julie moved to the Austin area from Ventura, California with her daughter, Taylor. She has an extensive background in physician group practice administration and in November 2006 joined the Allergy and Asthma Center of Austin as Practice Administrator. She feels fortunate to have found a great practice, complete with wonderfully skilled and compassionate doctors and a professional and caring staff. Although she was born and raised in California, Julie loves living in Texas with its beautiful blue sunny skies and friendly people. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, loves spending time on Lake Travis relaxing in the sun, listening to live music, interior home decorating, Longhorn Games, shopping and going to the movies. She is having fun making new friends, visiting the local sights and has even tried the two-step...watch your toes!
Our Clinical Staff
All our nursing staff are licensed caregivers with RNs, LVNs or Medical Technologist Certification. They take pride in the personal attention they give our patients. They are gentle with our younger patients who are often nervous about their visit to our office. Our nurses like to spend time with patients answering questions and providing information about medications, treatments and preventive care. Every day one of our nurses is assigned to help our patients on the phone with questions about illnesses or medications.
Our Administrative Staff
Our administrative staff are experienced and highly trained to work with the complexities of insurance billing and reimbursement. They strive to provide accurate and thorough claims processing to ensure your services are submitted to your insurance company accurately. They can help make appointments, answer questions about your account and file claims for you with contracted insurance companies. Our insurance specialists can help you contact your insurance company to assist you in understanding your insurance benefits for your care in our office.
